A. Brief Overlook

1. Geographic  Position and Convenient Transportation

Jiangsu Huatai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (JHT Shipyard) located near by Qiwei Ferry Terminal of Taixing City of  Jiangsu Province  which  was faced  to  Changzhou International  River  Port. JHT  was  alongside of Yangtse River trunk line routes which is like  throat of Yangtse River. Series of main high way routes and high speed  railway  provided JHT  convenience to Shanghai  City, Nanjing  City and  main international airport. 2.Company Scale and Floor Area

JHT covers an area of 220,000 square meters approximately and a river line around 400 meters.

3.Company Property and History

JHT was private and independent controlled shipyard from Jul. 2006 transforming from another shipyard which was invested by a few persons started from year 2000.

4.Climate  and Hydrological Condition

It’s open water area with stability of river bed which makes a calm water surface and mild wind. Climate was also mild and moderate rainfall. The river never gotten frozen and two times of high tide water every month which allowed launching the ship in each month. The average water depth is minus 10 meters.

5.Life  around JHT

The nearest Town to JHT is Qiwei Town which was 5  minutes by car and contained a population around 90,000  people.  JHT  was under  the  Taixing  City  administerially  which  was  20  minutes  by car  and contained a population around 400,000 people. There have two sets of five stars hotels in the City and a few sets of top grade apartment. Enthusiastic Taixing people will make you distinguished guests staying like at home.

6. Management Team

We emphasized that high quality human resource is the permanent foundation of a developing Shipyard.We always  follow up  the principle of  People Oriented  and Rational Management.  We put  the staff’s demands on first vision  and always remained with a space to  their personal development. Currently we have a  management team  of 150 around  and a subcontractor worker  team ranged from  700 to  2000 according to the orders on hand.

7.Quality Assurance

JHT was certified  and type approved by  BV and CCS Class  and qualified with certification  of ISO9001 and ISO 14001.  The delivered ships were  classed by kinds of Class  such as CCS, BV,  ABS and RINA with corresponding Welding Process System qualified.

8.Delivered Typical Ship’s Type

The kinds of ships  we have delivered included dry bulk  carrier, liquid cargo tankers and all kinds  of sea going barges.

9.   Main  Facilities

Presently following facilities were put in use:

1> Building Berth: One set of 50,000 Tons building berth with  particulars 220M in length and 50M in width which equipped with a set of 150T SWL gantry crane, this building berth comprised of  a block fabrication platform with particulars of 400M×50M  which equipped with a set of  40T SWL gantry crane and a set  of 32T SWL gantry crane.

2> Building Berth: One set of 50,000 Tons building berth with  particulars 220M in length and 50M in width which equipped with a set of 150T SWL gantry crane, this building berth comprised of  a block fabrication platform with particulars of 400M×50M  which equipped with a set of  32T SWL gantry crane and a set  of 20T SWL gantry crane.

3> Building Berth: One set of 50,000 Tons building berth with  particulars 220M in length and 35M in width which equipped with a set of 120T SWL gantry crane, this building berth comprised of  a block fabrication platform with particulars of 400M×35M which equipped with two sets of 32T SWL gantry cranes.

4> Block Fabrication Platform: One set of Pre-fabrication Platform and one set of pre-fabrication workshop which covers  an area  of 8,000 Square  Meters which  each equipped  with two sets  of 32T SWL  gantry cranes and six sets of 10T SWL gantry cranes.

5> Steel  cutting  workshop:  Covers  an area  of  5,600  Square  Meters  with  particulars 140M×40M  and equipped with two sets of Plasma Numberic CNC Cutter.

6> Shot-blasting & Painting workshop: One set of Shot-blasting & Painting workshop which complied with the standard for ballast tank Performance Standard and Protection Coatings. (PSPC)

7> Outfitting Jetty: Allows to mooring two ships together.

8> Other facilities:  such as cold frame bending machine, Pipe  Bending Machine, Plate Shearing Machine, Plate  Bending Roll  Machine, Oil  Press  Machine, Crawler  Crane, Truck  Crane  and Powered  Platform Vehicle for Transportation.

10. Targeted Market and Building Capability

We are  focusing on  the marketing  of kinds of  conventional ships  and offshore  support vessels  in the future  five  years. Our  building  capability  shall  be up  to  200,000  DWT  of ships  and  100,000  tons  steel fabrication.
